Celebrated with great spirits and a huge amount of dedication is International Yoga Day which is witnessed by people all over the world. Yoga is a way to connect and talk to one’s inner self and also keep your body healthy, fit and positive. This day is all the more special to the city of Lucknow as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to grace the day with his presence at the Ramabai Ambedkar ground. Arrangements have been running since quite some time now and people are making sure that they don’t let the prime minister down and make the visit a long lasting memory. The floor is all set with mats and people are excited to be a part of this day.
On the first day of his visit, Mr. Modi is scheduled to inaugurate a new building of the CDRI and also the new campus of the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. He will spend 40 minutes during which he will visit the laboratories. After the official programme, the PM will visit 5, Kalidas Marg, the official residence of the UP CM, for dinner. The meeting with Mr. Adityanath assumes significance as it comes at a time when the BJP government in U.P. is nearing its 100-day celebration. Mr. Modi will stay overnight at the Raj Bhavan.
On Wednesday, June 21, Mr. Modi will attend the third International Yoga Day at the sprawling Ramabai Ambedkar ground here. The session is scheduled to start at 6.30 a.m. and is expected to close just before 8 a.m. The participants, however, are expected to reach the site much before the scheduled start. The entry gate opens after 2 a.m.
The 2-day trip will be intriguing for the people and the administration as well. Mr. Modi will address eminent designators about the trending discussions and the situation and growth of the city. Later, the PM would leave for New Delhi, at around 1230 hrs.
