  1. Take two pieces of fabric and sew right sides together on the sides and the bottom. Leave the top (widest part of bag) open.
  2. Now make a bag out of it by sewing the ends. Attach two string on two respective side so that you can attach it to the stool easily.


Your DIY upside down stool – paper and umbrella holder is ready. Now we are all set to keep things in it. Fill it with gift wrapping papers, umbrellas, chart paper etc.

To make it more interesting make the stand colourful either by painting it or covering it with colourful clothes.

  2. Then cut some lemons and oranges (fruits that will not get blackened) and place them on the walls of the jar. These fruits will stick there naturally, so you don’t need to use glue or any adhesive.
  3. Arrange the fruits on the walls of the jar the way you like it.
  4. The last step is to create your own floral arrangement and then just place it in the vase and inside the jar.


And that is all, plain and simple, your own little flower-fruit arrangement that will brighten your room.

We all have heard that plastics do harm to our environment and hence we should dispose it properly but won’t it be fantastic if we reuse it rather than disposing it.

Follow these simple steps and create your own plastic plant pots.


How to make:

  1. Take a plastic bottle and cut it into two halves from the middle.
  2. Take the lower part and fill sand into it. Your flower pot is ready.
  3. To make it more interesting, use bottle caps and buttons to decorate it (like shown in the picture above).

Your plastic flower pot is ready. Plant your favourite shrubs, cactus into it and place it into your living room or drawing room. It will also help in circulating fresh air into the room.

How to make:

  1. Take a wine glass and place a small wax candle inside it.
  2. Take a plastic or a paper cup and carve your own design on it. You can also prefer designer cups.
  3. Place the cup and cover the brim of the wine glass using the paper cup.
  4. For more attraction colour the paper cup and the wine with the same colour and decorate it with ribbons. (as shown in the picture)

You can also use this ides for weddings and parties to decorate the dining table.

  1. Take some twigs of different size and width, cut it into the shape you like.
  2. Take a flower pot and paste the twigs onto it. These two steps and your flower pot is ready.
